Dec. 14 - Dec. 18 - In addition to our layout work. We are working on sorting over 400 pictures, and tagging close to 900 pictures in all.
Dec. 7 - 11 - We are working on a video project that will be shown during the all school assembly on our first day back from winter break.
Nov. 30 - Dec. 4 - We are continuing to work on our layouts. We received the disc from the photographer, so we are beginning to work on our portfolio pages.
Nov 23 - Nov. 27 -We will make final decisions on applicants and hand our congratulation letters. There is no school Wednesday, Nov. 25th - Friday, Nov. 27th. Have a fun and safe Thanksgiving break.
Nov 16 - Nov 20 - Students will create and interview list of questions and then conduct interviews to determine which applicants will be chosen for the yearbook club. Continue working on layouts.
Nov. 9 - 13 - Students will take and tag photos. We will discuss what a mentor/supervisor looks for in a prospective applicant. Students will start looking at applications received by the other students in the building that signed up to help with the yearbook. Continue working on layouts.
Nov. 2 - Nov. 6 - Students will searching various layouts and color pallets to create their individual spreads. They will receive additional training on the website and practice using those tools on their spread.
Oct. 26 - Oct. 30 - Students will be working on organizing photos and electing a coverage manager. Students will be trained on various features of the Josten's website and where tools to create their spreads can be located in the website. Student will finalize their yearbook assignments and choose the spreads they would like to create.
Oct. 19 - 23 - Students continuing to create the students sales list. We will be finalizing our layout. They will be hanging yearbook advertisements for Parent/Teacher Conferences. Parent/Teacher Conferences are Wednesday 4 - 7 pm and Thursday 1 - 7 pm.
Oct. 12 - 16 - Students are creating a student list to track of sales, finishing poster for next week's parent/teacher conferences. Building the yearbook ladder (layout) for this year's book. They have been taking lots of pictures for Spirit Week.

Sept. 28 - Oct. 2 - Students are researching theme designs for the yearbook and determining the layout of the yearbook spread.

Aug. 31 - Sept. 4 - We have been discussing our design cover. Many options have been considered, and students are finding hard to come to a decision. But they are learning a lot about the collaboration process. No final decisions have been made.
Aug. 24 - 28 - We have been discussing staff roles and responsibilities, ethical and legal responsibilities, and analyzing past yearbooks for strengths and weaknesses. We are in the process of developing our theme. We have had many students volunteer to stay after and take pictures, so we have a good start to our photo collection. I am so proud of these kids jumping in and wanting to make this a great start to the year.
